Who We Are

We're a family-owned outdoor outfitter, rooted on the same corner for over four decades. Real gear. Real advice. Real Alabama.

Who we are

Same Values. New Family.

For over 45 years, Mark’s Outdoors has been more than a store. Mark's has been a family tradition for so many in our community, built on passion for the outdoors, unwavering customer care, and a welcoming spirit that feels like home. As a Christian company, our faith guides the way we serve, treat others, and care for the community God has entrusted to us.

We are deeply honored to step in as the next stewards of this legacy. This isn’t about change; it’s about carrying forward a true Alabama family business into our family and investing in its future so that the same expertise, warmth, and outdoor camaraderie can continue to bring people together for generations to come. We are committed to upholding these age old traditions and honoring God through hard work and integrity as we build on this legacy for years to come.

You're Not Customers
You're Family

Here at Mark’s Outdoors, you are not just a customer, you are family. We’re not pushy salesmen, we’re fellow outdoors enthusiasts who genuinely love talking gear, swapping stories, and geeking out over the latest products. Whether you want honest advice on a new bow, the perfect fishing setup, or the right firearm for your needs, you’ll find friendly neighbors who are just as passionate about the outdoors as you are. Our team of experts is always happy to share what we know, answer your questions, and help you find exactly what you’re looking for because we believe the best part of this lifestyle is sharing it with others.

The folks behind the counter.

Hunters, anglers, archers, and weekend campers. Most of us grew up on the same trails and tailgates as the people we sell to. Come say hi.
