A REAL GUNSMITH
BEHIND THE COUNTER
Drop off in person
Cleaning, scope mounting, threading, suppressors, recoil reduction, and full custom projects handled by our gunsmiths right here in the store. No appointment needed. First come, first served.
Why bring it to the bench?
On site gunsmiths
The work happens in the building. You hand your firearm to the people responsible for it, not a shipping label.
Threading & suppressors
Threading and suppressor work handled on the bench by gunsmiths who do it every day.
Recoil reduction
Recoil reduction and routine maintenance through full custom projects, all under one roof.

Scope work
Mounting and boresighting done in the store, so your glass is squared away before you leave the lot.
First come, first served
No appointment needed. Drop it off with the service department and the bench takes it from there.
Trusted partners
We do not do mill work in house, and we say so. Specialized jobs go to third party partners we trust.
Our experienced gunsmiths can handle threading, suppressors, recoil reduction, and just about anything else you can think of. Whether it’s routine maintenance or a full custom project, we’ve got you covered.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not perform mill work in house, but we have trusted third party partners who can handle those specialized jobs for you.
No appointment needed. Simply bring your firearm to the store and drop it off with our service department. We operate on a first come first served basis. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure you follow Mark's Outdoors protocol whenever you bring your firearm into the store.
Because your firearm deserves better than a shipping box.

|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | Our gunsmiths, in the building | You, a YouTube video, and your only rifle | A stranger in another state you will never meet |
| Getting started | Walk in and drop it off. No appointment | Whenever you get around to it, so never | Weeks lost to freight before work even starts |
| Scope mounting | Mounted and boresighted on the bench | Guessed torque, canted crosshairs, misses you blame on the ammo | Boxed up, barely insured, and prayed over |
| The handoff | Checked at the counter, face to face | No second set of eyes until it fails downrange | A tracking number and a shrug |
| If questions come up | Walk in and ask. The bench is right here | Back to the search bar at midnight | A support ticket and a three day wait |
How it works.
Start to finish.
Check it in
Bring your firearm in with all ammunition removed and check it at the counter the moment you walk in. That is store protocol.
The bench
Our gunsmiths take it from there. Cleaning, mounting, threading, or the full custom treatment.
Pick up
You hear from us when it is ready. First come, first served, no appointment needed.
