GUNTERSVILLE AUG 2008 spinnerbait kid

The last 5 days have been great on Guntersville if you like throwing topwater. Clients and I have caught nearly 200 bass most on topwater. We have had 2 over 6 lbs 2 over 5 lbs and a bunch of 2-3 lbers. Been catching most of the bass shallow over grass flats in 2-5 ft. You can also catch schooling bass on crankbaits out over deeper water. We also have been catching a few on deeper humps in 8-10ft with Go 2 Paddletail worms. As fall continues the topwater bite should get better every day with September and October being great topwater months.
