Headed out this afternoon for some topwater action on the upper end of Wheeler. Only fished for about 5 hours but it was a blast. Size was ok with both some smaller fish as well as several solid fish. Had an solid limit on the Omega football head before the top water turned on. After it cooled a little and areas started to get some shade I put on the Daiwa buzz bait(black)and had a blast. Hope everyone is staying cool and drinking alot of water. The heat is just nasty but alot better than being cold.LOL I will be on the water on GUntersville in the morning, see you on the water!
