HIWASSEE RIVER JULY 2008

NEW report for the Hiwassee R., (Eastern TN tailrace, a gorgeous river!) from the boys at Hiwassee Angler:

The Hiwassee is fishing well right now. Best fishing is on upper river. Nymphs and streamers in the morning and good dry fly fishing in the evening hours. Best dries are BWO, Caddis, and parachute Adams, all in smaller sizes, 16 and 18s….Some nice smallmouth are coming out of the lower river. Fish close to the banks and creek mouths.
